Dr. Matthew Oldroyd

Matthew has called the Sandhills his home for over 25 years. He enjoys a successful practice as an anesthesiologist and pain medicine physician for First Health Moore Regional Hospital, holding multiple leadership roles throughout that organization.

He brings experience and expertise in volunteerism in nonprofit organizations with dozens of volunteer medical mission trips around the world. In 2025, he and his wife founded Surgical Wings, LLC, a nonprofit organization supporting medical mission trips to underserved areas around the world.

Dr. Oldroyd and his family have been active in the medical, equestrian, and educational fabric of the Sandhills, and continue to do so to this day. Serving as a board member of the Sandhills Tennis Foundation is an honor and a privilege, as it strengthens our community through wellness, integrity, and personal progress.
